Job summary

A leading Defense company in the UAE is seeking a Programme Quality Manager to spearhead quality standards within the Product Development Team. The role involves leading a team, overseeing project deliverables, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Candidates should have significant experience in PMO and Quality Management, ideally within the defense sector.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in PMO / Design Engineering and Quality Management.
• 3+ years of experience as Programme Quality Manager in Defence Industry preferred.
• ASQ certification or similar, Chartered Member of CQI preferred.

We are looking for a Programme Quality Manager for a permanent position with a leading Defense company in the UAE.

Job Description :

The Programme Quality Manager (PQM) spearheads the development of a quality-focused environment and maintains quality standards within the Product Development Team. The PQM shall :

1. Lead a team in the strategic development and implementation of quality standards according to company and industry standards.
2. Oversee programme lifecycle activities and project deliverables.
3. Ensure design and development is undertaken as per approved plans and procedures.
4. Ensure that all test, verification and qualification activities are undertaken at planned phases.
5. Empower the team to develop process improvement, preventive and corrective action plans.

Profile / Requirements :

Minimum : 8+ years' of experience in PMO / Design Engineering and Quality Management environment. Minimum : Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Quality assurance.

Preferred : 3+ years of experience as Programme Quality Manager in Defence Industry with regional exposure.

Preferred : Master's degree in related Engineering discipline / American Society for Quality (ASQ) certified or similar, Chartered Member of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI).
