Brief Overview:

An excellent opportunity has arisen to work with a leading retail group that has recently received sign-off to expand its IT function with contract professionals. We are looking for a strong Program Manager to lead the initial deployment of a new Target Operating Model (TOM) across business domains and tech teams.

To be successful, candidates must demonstrate the ability to: manage and coordinate cross-functional initiatives; effectively communicate with executive stakeholders; drive governance and strategy alignment; and possess strong planning, risk management, and delivery skills. A background in data governance or large-scale data program implementation is essential.

Program Manager – Scope of Work:

The successful candidate will support the TOM task force across six key areas:

• • Set up the Data Strategy Board
• • Support definition and prioritisation of group data strategy
• Organisation & Governance
• • Define roles, responsibilities, and governance processes
• • Support rollout of Google BigQuery (GBQ) across domains
• • Assist implementation of a data cataloguing tool
• Data Management & Quality
• • Provide best practices for data quality management
• • Identify automation opportunities in manual processes
• Domain & Functional Use Cases
• • Help design advanced and transversal use cases
• • Collaborate on reporting enhancements, including SAP migration readiness
• Change, Upskilling & Literacy
• • Launch training initiatives for data owners and stewards
• • Drive executive awareness and adoption around data and AI

Requirements:

• Must be an experienced Programme Manager, with a great understanding of Data
• Experience working within Retail
• Knowledge in Target Operating Models would really stand out in this role
• Must be located in Dubai
• To be self-sponsored (Golden Visa / Company Visa/ Freelance Visa etc.)
• Great stakeholder management with C Suite is imperative
