Job Purpose:

The Project Delivery Assist Engineer reports to Program Delivery Managers overseeing construction, commissioning, and handover of water pumping stations, distribution ring mains, control valve stations, and piping. This PMC role involves managing supervision consultants and EPCs from inception to completion, ensuring project activities meet schedule, budget, safety, and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Monitor onsite activities, oversee performance, attend meetings, and manage information flow.
2. Lead planning and delivery to align with project goals, timelines, and budgets.
3. Coordinate activities related to water transmission packages and EPC operations.
4. Enhance communication among stakeholders including clients, contractors, vendors, and regulators.
5. Develop and implement project management plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
6. Monitor project KPIs and implement corrective actions.
7. Prepare progress reports highlighting milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.
8. Ensure safety standards and regulations are followed.
9. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams.
10. Oversee commissioning and energization plans and phases.
11. Manage project risks proactively.
12. Maintain client relationships and proactive communication.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
• 5 years of experience in water transmission construction
• Experience as PMC, supervision consultant, or EPC on similar projects
