Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Faculty in Dubai on a full-time basis (40 hours a week) starting September 2025. We seek someone who shares our vision of excellence in education and is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students and staff.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

• Conduct introductory and in-depth courses in the areas of software engineering.
• Plan and implement research projects, including publication activities.
• Advise and supervise students.
• Grade student work and supervise seminars, projects, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral theses.
• Establish partnerships with companies and institutions to enhance the university’s network in Dubai.
• Participate in administrative activities and committee work.
• Advise prospective students.

Your Profile

• Several years of teaching experience at universities in Software Engineering or related fields.
• Ability to teach courses in business-related areas is advantageous.
• Proficiency in teaching courses in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
• Research and publication activities are desirable.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Organizational skills and eagerness to contribute to the university’s growth.

Requirements for Professorship:

• Completed university studies.
• Outstanding doctorate and/or significant scientific publications demonstrating extraordinary qualification.
