Your Responsibilities

We are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Faculty in Dubai on a full-time basis (40 hours a week) starting September 2025, who shares our vision of excellence in education and who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students and staff.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

• Conducting introductory and in-depth courses in the areas of software engineering
• Planning and implementation of research projects including publication activities
• Advising and supervising students
• Grading student work, supervising seminars, projects, bachelor's, master’s, and doctoral theses
• Establishing partnerships with companies and institutions for the further networking of the university at the Dubai location
• Administrative activities and committee work
• Advising prospective students

Your profile

• Several years of teaching experience at universities in the field of Software Engineering or a related subject
• Ability to teach courses in business-related areas is an advantage
• Ability to teach courses in the English language
• Ability to teach courses in German language is an advantage
• Publication and research activities desired
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Organizational skills and eagerness to work together to advance the success and growth of the University

Requirements for professorship:

• Completed university studies.
• Proof of extraordinary qualification for scientific work in the form of an outstanding doctorate and/or outstanding scientific publications.
• Qualified professional experience in the field of professorship: at least three years, two of them outside of a university.
