The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields, excellent communication skills in Arabic and English, and experience in student counseling. Qualifications

  • University GPA of at least 2.7.
  • Age: not more than 45 years old.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the same field (for expatriates).

Responsibilities

  • Implement the academic, professional, and social guidance plan.
  • Develop plans for social care and manage student databases.
  • Plan and execute guidance programs to enhance motivation and academic achievement.

Job description

Implementing the academic, professional, and social guidance plan, including its activities and events, in accordance with the guidelines approved by the Academic and Professional Guidance Department.

Developing and implementing a comprehensive plan for all aspects of social care, ensuring the integrated development of students, including managing student databases, addressing their needs, desires, and problems.

Enforcing the school's behavioral discipline regulations (community responsibility regulations).

Forming parents’ councils, informing them of the current and future challenges in the implementation of the plan, programs, and academic and professional decisions, as they are a supportive element for the school.

Planning and executing group and individual guidance programs based on students' needs, aimed at enhancing motivation to learn, increasing academic achievement, and preparing students for a future aligned with the country's sectoral needs.

Implementing the career guidance curriculum for ninth-grade students through designated guidance classes in the school schedule (for those assigned by the school branches).

Performing any other tasks related to the specialty as assigned.

Skills and Requirements
  • Citizenship requirements:
    • Emirate of appointment: Dubai and the Northern Emirates
    • Bachelor's degree in Humanities and Social Sciences, Student Counseling, or Academic Career Counseling
    • University GPA of at least 2.7
    • Age: not more than 45 years old
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Arabic and English (reading, writing, speaking)
    • Computer skills and applications
    • Passing tests and interviews conducted by the institution
    • For non-native English speakers, providing an IELTS 5.5 Academic certificate or an EmSAT score of 1250 or above within 6 months of appointment
  • Expatriate requirements:
    • Same educational and language requirements as citizens
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in the same field
Education
