MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Guide and oversee daily production operations.
- Production planning, forecasting, and follow-ups. (daily and weekly)
- Ensure orders are completed on time and deadlines are met.
- Manage production staff and multiple production lines efficiently. Train, mentor, and support production staff to maintain high standards.
- Experience in chocolate couverture varieties, molding & enrobing, fillings, demolding & cooling, shelf-life & stability management.
- Operate chocolate machinery: tempering machines, enrobers, cooling tunnels, depositors.
- Process monitoring: molding, enrobing, demolding, cooling for uniform visuals and compliance.
- Batch control & scaling: artisanal runs to semi-industrial production.
- Monitor hygiene and safety compliance according to company policies and certifications.
- Troubleshoot production defects: bloom, air bubbles, dull surfaces, broken shells.
- Conduct input and output visuals check for consistent quality.
- Ensure quality, consistency, and aesthetics across all chocolate products measures.
- Report non-compliance issues directly to chefs and QC team.
- Work under pressure and support a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with all factory departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiency measures.
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory role or Chef de Partie in chocolate or confectionery production. Expertise in tempering, molding, enrobing, and finishing chocolate products.
- Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in chocolate production or related supervisory role.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Hands‑on approach with strong attention to detail.
- Preferably, Diploma/Degree in Food Production, Chocolate Technology, or any Culinary related field.
- Previous experience in large‑scale chocolate or confectionery manufacturing.
