Job summary

Al Burhani General Trading LLC in Dubai seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of the flooring/joinery facility. You will plan schedules, manage targets, and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure on-time delivery with quality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in wood flooring production, and the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Immediate availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–6 years of UAE experience as a Production Supervisor.
• Mandatory experience in flooring production, wood flooring production, joinery production, or a related wood manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of wood flooring materials, production processes, cutting, finishing, and quality control.
• Experience supervising production workers and managing factory/workshop operations.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage tight deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and manpower management skills.
• Good understanding of production planning, scheduling, quality control, and material management.
• Ability to read and understand production requirements, specifications, and technical/shop drawings is preferred.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• String coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage production independently and take ownership of deadlines and output.
• Immediate or short-notice availability will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the day-to-day production activities of the flooring/joinery production facility.
• Plan and organize production schedules based on project requirements and delivery deadlines.
• Ensure production targets are achieved within the required timeline without compromising quality.
• Handle production-related pressure and manage multiple urgent projects and priorities effectively.
• Supervise production workers, carpenters, machine operators, and other factory staff.
• Allocate manpower and resources according to production requirements and workload.
• Monitor the complete production process and ensure work is carried out as per approved specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Ensure proper handling, cutting, processing, finishing, and preparation of wood flooring and other flooring materials.
• Coordinate with the Project, Sales, Installation, Warehouse, Procurement, and Management teams regarding production requirements and timelines.
• Review production requirements and identify material, manpower, machinery, or operational requirements in advance.
• Monitor material usage and minimize wastage during the production process.
• Ensure proper stock and material availability in coordination with the warehouse and procurement teams.
• Conduct regular quality checks throughout the production process and ensure finished products meet company and project requirements.
• Identify production delays, quality issues, or operational problems and take immediate corrective action.
• Maintain daily production records, manpower attendance, production progress, and pending work reports.
• Ensure machines, tools, and equipment are properly maintained and report any maintenance requirements.
• Implement and maintain workplace safety, cleanliness, and proper organization within the production area.
• Train and guide production staff to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain discipline and ensure workers follow company policies, safety procedures, and production instructions.
• Report production progress, challenges, delays, and resource requirements to management on a regular basis.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce wastage, and increase productivity.
