Role Overview:

As a Production Quality Specialist, you will be a key member of the Supply Chain Quality team, responsible for ensuring that products, services, and processes consistently meet company quality standards. This role requires a hands-on approach, technical accuracy, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary contact for Quality Management System (QMS) initiatives across all management levels.
• Monitor, maintain, and report on QMS metrics and KPIs to leadership.
• Lead investigations into customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and oversee rework and incident resolution.
• Perform quality evaluations, including report reviews and chemical analysis of inventory.
• Prepare laboratory samples in line with customer and internal quality team requirements.
• Coordinate sample management and distribution across plants and suppliers in the region.
• Manage calibration and maintenance of lab equipment, and perform troubleshooting as needed.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities following change management protocols.
• Ensure accurate entry of quality data and batch information into SAP.
• Contribute to QEHS, HRMS, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct utility water sampling and analysis as scheduled.
• Lead efforts in document control and QMS process implementation.
• Assist in maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and NSF certifications.
• Participate in Quality KPI review meetings and drive improvements.
• Promote workplace organization using 5S principles and conduct regular inspections.
• Support EHS initiatives, including waste disposal, incident reporting, and risk assessments.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of QC laboratory experience, preferably in the chemical or petrochemical sector.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with various levels of management.
• Proficient in technology and quick to learn new software systems (SAP knowledge preferred).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• A team player who thrives in diverse, multicultural environments.
