Production Planning Manager

Sigma Engineering Works, part of Mazrui Energy Services is looking for a Planning Manager to be part of our Production team at Abu Dhabi, UAE.

What you'll do:

• Plan all production tasks and schedules according to customer orders.
• Develop and review production plan with Managers for approval.
• Capacity planning and prepare machine loading plan in coordination with production team
• Lead Routing engineers and project coordinators
• Monitor the execution of production plan and resolve any potential issues in a timely fashion.
• Communicate production status to Operations Manager
• Escalate complex issues to Manager for resolution.
• Investigate production problem, analyse root causes and provide solutions.
• Analyse back orders, current orders and upcoming orders to prioritize, plan, and schedule the production operations.
• Plan equipment, material and manpower requirements to execute job orders.
• Present production and planning status to customers
• Coordinate with Production Manager in planning and implementing plan and changes in production lines.
• Plan inventory management processes to avoid shortages and excesses.
• Monitor production progress and ensure that final product meets quality standards and customer specifications.
• Adhere to company standards and production policies to meet company objectives.
• Analyse delays and interruptions and accordingly adjust production schedule to meet deadlines
• Maintain reports for production planning activities and sequences.

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Civil Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering
• 10 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry of which a minimum of 3 years in Middle East.
• Experience in the New Manufacturing of API 6A based components.
• Planning capability using Primavera, MS Project, Et.
