Job summary

Precision Group in Dubai is seeking a seasoned Production Planning & Scheduling professional to manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and coordinate with Sales, Production, and Quality teams. The role ensures optimal utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials to meet customer demands.

You will maintain accurate ERP data, support S&OP inputs, and drive on-time delivery while monitoring capacity and resource utilization across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical engineering.

JOB CONTENT

To manage and execute detailed production planning and scheduling activities, ensuring optimal utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials to meet customer demands. This role is responsible for maintaining the Master Production Schedule (MPS), coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely execution of work orders to support efficient and seamless packaging operations.

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES

ProductionPlanning & Scheduling:

• Developdaily and weekly production schedules in coordination with Sales and Productionteams.
  
• Monitorjob orders, prioritize them based on delivery commitments and availableresources.
  
• Maintainand update the Master Production Schedule (MPS) with accuracy.
  
• Prepareand release all necessary documentations such as process flow sheets, etc., tothe shop floor for efficient and effective production planning & control.
  
• Inliaison with the production team prepare production plan to ensure the deliveryschedule meets customer requirements.
  

Coordination& Communication:

• Actas a bridge between Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to ensure timelyand accurate flow of information and maintain schedule adherence.
  
• Liaisewith the production team to identify capacity constraints and rescheduleaccordingly.
  
• Supportthe S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process by providing inputs andforecasts.
  
• Trackinventory levels and suggest replenishments to meet production demand.
  
• Monitorthe consumption of raw materials and ensure alignment with planned usage.
  
• Updateand maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) in collaboration with Quality andProduction teams.
  

System& Data Management:

• Maintainproduction-related data in Oracle ERP and ensure accurate job postings.
  
• Ensurethat man-hours used on machineries are recorded timely and accurately by theproduction team including inputs on extra work and verify it with relatedrecords.
  
• SupportsMaster Data Governance as it relates to Operations Master Data within OracleERP.
  
• Analyzeproduction reports, downtime logs, and performance trends to supportdecision-making.
  

OperationalSupport:

• Assistin scheduling machine usage to optimize capacity and overall plant performance.
  
• Ensurenew product developments/trials and all work orders are planned, scheduled andproduced on time to maximise performance and minimise delay.
  
• Ensureproper documentation and traceability for all production-related records.
  
• Trackand report shift schedules, man-hours, and productivity metrics.
  

Compliance& Safety:

• Ensurecompliance to Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Environment requirements asspecified in the global QHSE Management System with strict adherence to ISO andlocal regulatory authority.
  
• Ensurethat all records and documents are up to date and have full traceability andretrieval at all times and that all processes, procedures & activitiescomply with ISO and management procedures.

Requirements

Education/Qualifications
