Precision Group in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Production Planner to manage and optimize daily and weekly production schedules, coordinating with Sales, Production and Supply Chain teams to meet customer demands.

You will maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS), update Bills of Materials, monitor resources, and ensure accurate data in Oracle ERP to support efficient packaging operations and on-time deliveries.

Responsabilidades

• Develop daily and weekly production schedules with Sales and Production teams.
• Monitor and prioritize job orders based on delivery commitments and resources.
• Maintain and update the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
• Prepare documentation for shop floor to support planning and control.
• Act as liaison between Sales, Customer Service and Operations for schedule adherence.
• Coordinate with production to identify capacity constraints and reschedule as needed.
• Track inventory levels and support material replenishments.
• Maintain data in Oracle ERP and ensure accurate postings and records.
• Support Master Data Governance related to Operations Master Data in ERP.
• Analyze production reports and downtime to support decision-making.
• Assist in scheduling machine usage to optimize capacity and plant performance.
• Ensure product development trials and work orders are planned and produced on time.
• Maintain traceability for production records and shift productivity metrics.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, Food Safety and Environmental requirements.

JOB CONTENT

To manage and execute detailed production planning and scheduling activities ensuring optimal utilization of manpower equipment and materials to meet customer demands. This role is responsible for maintaining the Master Production Schedule MPS coordinating with cross-functional teams and ensuring timely execution of work orders to support efficient and seamless packaging operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Planning amp Scheduling

• Develop daily and weekly production schedules in coordination with Sales and Production teams


• Monitor job orders prioritize them based on delivery commitments and available resources


• Maintain and update the Master Production Schedule MPS with accuracy


• Prepare and release all necessary documentations such as process flow sheets etc to the shop floor for efficient and effective production planning amp control


• In liaison with the production team prepare production plan to ensure the delivery schedule meets customer requirements

Coordination amp Communication

• Act as a bridge between Sales Customer Service and Operations to ensure timely and accurate flow of information and maintain schedule adherence


• Liaise with the production team to identify capacity constraints and reschedule accordingly


• Support the S amp OP Sales and Operations Planning process by providing inputs and forecasts

Inventory amp Material Planning

• Track inventory levels and suggest replenishments to meet production demand


• Monitor the consumption of raw materials and ensure alignment with planned usage


• Update and maintain Bills of Materials BOM in collaboration with Quality and Production teams

System amp Data Management

• Maintain production-related data in Oracle ERP and ensure accurate job postings


• Ensure that man-hours used on machineries are recorded timely and accurately by the production team including inputs on extra work and verify it with related records


• Supports Master Data Governance as it relates to Operations Master Data within Oracle ERP


• Analyze production reports downtime logs and performance trends to support decision-making

Operational Support

• Assist in scheduling machine usage to optimize capacity and overall plant performance


• Ensure new product developments trials and all work orders are planned scheduled and produced on time to maximise performance and minimise delay


• Ensure proper documentation and traceability for all production-related records


• Track and report shift schedules man-hours and productivity metrics

Compliance amp Safety

• Ensure compliance to Safety Quality Food Safety and Environment requirements as specified in the global QHSE Management System with strict adherence to ISO and local regulatory authority


• Ensure that all records and documents are up to date and have full traceability and retrieval at all times and that all processes procedures amp activities comply with ISO and management procedures


• Perform any other job task assigned by the Line Manager to accomplish department objectives

People Development

• Monitor team adherence to planning timelines documentation accuracy and reporting requirements


• Guide team members in maintaining accurate records of man-hours machine utilization and material consumption


• Manage team performance by setting objectives providing feedback developing employees and motivating the team to achieve goals

Requirements

Education Qualifications

Bachelors Degree or Diploma in engineering preferably Mechanical Electrical

Experience

5 to 8 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing industry preferably packaging volume manufacturing Experience in a production planning scheduling or similar production supply chain capacity

Functional Skills amp Specific Knowledge
