Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically skilled Production Manager/Engineer to lead manufacturing operations in a dynamic and fast-paced Signage & Outdoor Advertising company based in the UAE.

The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 8–10 years of experience in signage production or engineering, with a strong background in managing teams, materials, and fabrication workflows. This role is central to ensuring project accuracy, timely delivery, and production efficiency across all signage categories, including indoor, outdoor, digital, and custom displays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily operations of the signage production unit, ensuring smooth workflow across all fabrication sections.
  • Interpret technical drawings and client specifications to plan production tasks accurately.
  • Supervise production teams including fabricators, welders, painters, printers, and electricians, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Ensure all signage products are manufactured within project deadlines and quality benchmarks.
  • Oversee raw material planning, inventory management, and procurement in coordination with the purchase department.
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures throughout the production cycle.
  • Coordinate with design, sales, project management, and installation teams to align production with project schedules.
  • Ensure maintenance and efficient operation of production equipment including CNC machines, laser cutters, printers, and tools.
  • Monitor production costs, optimize resources, and reduce material waste.
  • Enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workshop.
  • Liaise with external vendors and subcontractors for specialized fabrication work.
  • Stay updated with new signage materials, technologies, and fabrication techniques to enhance output quality and efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering is mandatory.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
  • Additional training in production planning, lean manufacturing, or quality control is highly desirable.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in signage manufacturing or outdoor advertising production, with at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of handling large-scale signage projects, including LED, 3D, unipoles, and digital displays.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of production workflows, fabrication techniques, and installation processes in the signage industry.
  • Hands-on experience with material planning, cost estimation, and vendor coordination.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other design/drafting tools used in signage production.
  • Knowledge of health & safety compliance and quality assurance standards specific to signage and structural fabrication.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate technical staff under tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities to interface with sales, design, procurement, and installation teams.
  • Ability to troubleshoot on-site production or installation issues with a solution-oriented mindset.
