Job description

LIN SCAN – the leading provider of inline inspection services in the Oil & Gas field - is looking for Production Manager to join our team.

The Production Manager plays a key role in our TM/Production chain, leading and managing the Mechanical Fabrication, Electronics Assembly, PU Fabrication, Assembly and Testing, and Supply Chain teams with the objectives of improving quality, cost, and delivery performance.

We will only consider candidates with international exposure.

The job location is in Sharjah, UAE.

Main Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Manage TM/Production Department and all support staff in Logistics Centers within LIN SCAN territories. Ensure proper distribution and delegation of duties. Execute performance evaluations.
  2. Develop and execute corporate strategies for the TM/Production Department and Logistics Centers, aligned with company objectives.
  3. Develop communication channels between the Corporate TM/Production Department and Logistics Centers via ERP and reports.
  4. Review and approve equipment requests, PIDs, and tool preparation plans. Maintain ILI tool fleet.
  5. Allocate resources effectively based on schedules.
  6. Ensure technical requirements are met during planning and preparation.
  7. Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Asset Managers to facilitate project execution.
  8. Control costs and ensure they do not exceed budgets.
  9. Report activities to top management accurately and timely.
  10. Ensure on-time tool delivery and proper handover to Logistics.
  11. Apply Quality & HSE Procedures across all branches.
  12. Manage Logistics Centers at Head Office and territories.
  13. Implement tool standardization and upgrade projects.
  14. Participate in review committees for new design approval.
  15. Lead, develop, and motivate your team, supporting their KPIs and personal growth.

  • Bachelor’s in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Over 7 years in pipeline environment, with experience in Inspection, Integrity, Pigging, etc.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience managing large teams and operations.
Other Requirements
  • Ability to travel without major visa restrictions.
  • Willingness to travel frequently worldwide.
Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
