Job summary

The Standard Group Of Companies is seeking an experienced fabrication supervisor in the UAE to lead daily production, ensure ASME and AWS welding standards, and coordinate resources for tanks, piping, and structures.

Applicants should have 8–12 years of hands-on fabrication experience in heavy industry, read P&IDs and drawings, and hold a mechanical engineering degree. U-stamp background strongly preferred for this senior role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 8–12 years hands-on fabrication experience in tanks, pressure vessels, structural steel, and piping.
• Experience working to ASME Section VIII (Div. 1 & 2), AWS D1.1, AWS D1.6, and ASME B31.1 / B31.3 / B31.8.
• Prior experience in oil & gas or heavy industrial fabrication; U-stamp certified background strongly preferred.
• Able to read and interpret P&IDs, isometrics, GA drawings, WPS/PQR, and welding symbols (AWS A2.4).
