Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking an experienced Welding Specialist for Oil & Gas EPC projects in the UAE. The role focuses on developing and reviewing welding documents (WPS, PQR, WPQR), and coordinating PQT and WQT, with strong familiarity of API 1104, ASME IX and ASME B31.8.

The ideal candidate holds an IWE certification and will monitor field welding to ensure adherence to project specifications and international standards.

Qualifications

• Develop, review and manage welding technical documents including WPS, PQR, WPQR, Welding Consumable Specification, Welding Operation Instruction, Welding Inspection Plan, etc.
• Organize welding procedure qualification test (PQT).
• Conduct welder qualification test (WQT).
• Familiar with construction standards: API 1104, ASME IX, ASME B31.8, NACE MR0175.
• Monitor field welding implementation to comply with project specification.
• IWE (International Welding Engineer).
