Job Summary

We are hiring a Production Engineer to oversee and manage the operations of our fabrication workshop. This role involves supervising daily production activities, reviewing technical designs before fabrication, ensuring efficient use of raw materials, and maintaining workflow continuity across the production processes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations of the metal fabrication workshop.

Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet project timelines.

Review engineering and CAD drawings for technical accuracy and fabrication readiness.

Monitor and control usage of raw materials, ensuring minimal waste and proper stock levels.

Coordinate with design, procurement, and maintenance teams for seamless production.

Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.

Keep records of production output and equipment maintenance.Supervise workshop staff and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.

Skills

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.

Hands-on knowledge of laser cutting, CNC bending, and welding processes.

Strong understanding of fabrication drawings and tolerances.

Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks preferred).

Strong leadership and organizational skills.

Able to handle multiple tasks and adjust priorities under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with ERP systems for production and inventory control.
