Job description

Our client, one of the leading names in Marine Engineering & Service industry is looking to hire a Production and Demand Planner based in UAE. Salary Budget : AED 35K – 40K + Benefits

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Responsible activities / production planning schedules to control work flow, including Forecasting, Order Promising, MRP, Master Data, Engineering Change, Management, and Inventory Turns.
• Creating, using and maintaining plant history to develop future maintenance requirements for equipment, forecasting operational impacts and cost projections.
• Developing specific maintenance plans for various equipment and mechanical resources.
• Coordinating reports from maintenance technicians and using information to develop system-wide and location and / or equipment maintenance plans.
• Preparing work plans based on logical sequencing of events and associated tasks.
• Conducting site inspections to determine maintenance requirements and scopes of work for specific maintenance projects.
• Identifying parts, materials, tools, external services and resources -required to undertake successful preventative maintenance and unscheduled repair work.
• Developing standard maintenance procedures to adhere to regulatory requirements and equipment standards and company policies.
• Ensuring the ongoing validity of safety permits for sites and / or equipment.
• Responsible for training and coaching junior planners
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

Education & Qualification :

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in production and demand planning
• Experience in using SAP and Excel Macro
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience of construction planning in Maritime Construction and / or O&G Offshore / Onshore
• Proficient in the use of -Primavera P-6 it’s a plus
• Experience with Project Scheduling including Critical Path Methodology, Productivity Tracking and Earned Value required.
• Good analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
