Job summary

Al Marwan Group in the UAE seeks a Product Support Service Engineer to provide technical support and after-sales service for heavy equipment across workshop and field operations.

The role ensures optimal equipment performance, high service standards and strong customer satisfaction, with travel to client sites across the UAE and close collaboration with internal teams to meet OEM safety and company policies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in product support service engineering or after-sales support.
• Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment (excavators, cranes, forklifts, etc.).
• Solid understanding of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics and service documentation.
• Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
• Willingness to travel to client sites across the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for technical support and service-related queries.
• Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on heavy equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Conduct overhaul and component-level repairs when required.
• Maintain accurate service reports, inspection records and maintenance logs.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify recurring issues for improvement.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with OEM standards, safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for technical support and service-related queries

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OEMs such as Caterpillar Komatsu Volvo Liebherr or JCB
• Prior experience in the UAE or GCC market
• Familiarity with service management systems and reporting tools
