Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) is seeking an experienced leader to own end-to-end product strategy for Wealth, Brokerage, and Custody platforms. You will oversee delivery, platform stability, and business outcomes, translating requirements into actionable stories and managing cross-functional stakeholders.

The role emphasizes driving platform modernization, vendor collaboration, and adherence to security and regulatory standards, with opportunities for flexible and remote working in the UAE.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering and growing Wealth management, Investment, Brokerage and Custody products.
• Strong understanding of advisory, discretionary and self-directed models.
• Knowledge of asset classes including equities, ETFs, funds and fixed income.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of accountability for Wealth, Brokerage, Custody and Trading platforms.
• Own end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, delivery, stability and outcomes.
• Translate business needs into user stories, specs and acceptance criteria.
• Manage product backlog, prioritization, sprint planning and releases.
• Drive large-scale transformation with multiple stakeholders.
• Lead workshops with Business, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance and Tech.

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

• Act as the single point of accountability for assigned Wealth, Brokerage, Custody, and Trading platforms.
• Own end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, delivery, platform stability, and business outcomes.
• Translate business requirements into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage product backlog, prioritization, sprint planning, and release management activities.
• Drive large-scale transformation initiatives involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead workshops with Business, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance, and Technology teams.
• Own vendor relationships and ensure delivery accountability across implementation partners.
• Review and challenge solution designs, technical proposals, and implementation approaches.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security standards, and strategic technology roadmaps.
• Manage production incidents, root cause analysis, service improvements, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate delivery, operational, architectural, and regulatory risks.
• Drive adoption of industry best practices and continuous improvement across products and platforms.

Core domain knowledge

• Deep hands-on experience delivering and growing Wealth Management, Investment, Brokerage, and Custody products.
• Strong understanding of Advisory, Discretionary, and Self-Directed investment models.
• Experience across wealth asset classes including equities, ETFs, mutual funds, fixed income, structured products, and alternative investments.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end trade lifecycle including order capture, routing, execution, settlement, reconciliation, and corporate actions processing.
• Wealth Operations and Brokerage Operations domain expertise.
• Experience with custody platforms covering safekeeping, asset servicing, settlements, transfers, and corporate actions.
• Knowledge of Digital Asset Custody, Tokenization, and Digital Asset Trading ecosystems.
• Experience with portfolio management, advisory platforms, PMS/OMS ecosystems, and investment servicing workflows.
• Experience in platform implementation, migration, transformation, and release management programs.
• Good understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations within wealth, brokerage, and custody businesses.

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

• Strong API-first integration experience including REST, event-driven, and service-oriented architectures.
• Thorough understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with cloud-native and SaaS-based platform implementations (AWS/Azure preferred).
• Ability to assess, review, and challenge solution architecture and vendor designs.
• Strong understanding of Order Management Systems (OMS), Portfolio Management Systems (PMS), trading engines, custody platforms, and market data services.
• Knowledge of FIX protocol, connectivity frameworks, and market infrastructure integrations.
• Experience with digital channels, mobile applications, and omnichannel wealth journeys.
• Strong understanding of system security, authentication, authorization, encryption, and regulatory controls.
• Familiarity with high availability, disaster recovery, resiliency, and performance engineering principles.
• Experience managing data migration, platform consolidation, modernization, and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical, documentation, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery tools including JIRA, Confluence, and related collaboration platforms.
