About the Role & Opportunity

We are looking for a Product Owner to join our UAE team who will be responsible to define business problems via in-depth investigation and gathering of technical and non- technical information. Once the issue is clearly understood, they outline detailed requirements for a solution and ensure the delivered solution meets those business requirements. They are most often engaged to work on IT and business transformation projects but can also be deployed onto projects in other departments too.

  • Responsible for a successful completion of analytical, designing, building, testing and deployment tasks of Shory software product’s features & functions. In addition, Business Analyst develop and monitor data quality metrics and ensure business data and reporting needs are met.
  • Research product market and undertake feasibility studies, conduct research, compile market intelligence, and produce detailed analysis of key competitor projects, and present findings as and when required.
  • Identify operational, financial and technological risks within the business
  • Coordinate requirements for the writing of user stories for development team
  • Seek to identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impacts
  • Seek to identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at complex level, focus on quality improvement and data management
  • Contribute and coordination of project level analysis – producing required project analysis documentation (business and system requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan)
  • Evaluate new product offering with Development based on corporate objectives.
  • Execute the business plans through carrying out research, formulate market analysis and deliver accurate business reports
  • Serve as liaison between Operations and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancements and implementations

About the Skills, Education & Experience Required

To be considered for this role you will need to have at least 4 to 8 years of experience as Business Analyst, preferably with blue chip companies in following industries: insurance, banking, management, or technical consulting.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science Engineering and Computer Information Systems
  • MBA or Master’s Degree in relevant field an asset
  • Have experience working on wireframing tools like Balsamiq or Axure RP, Visio, Figma etc.
  • Excellent financial acumen
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate product ideas to partners
  • Advanced motivational, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Exposure in Agile software development
  • Excellent problem solving, communication and leadership skills
  • Arabic speaker
  • Excellent MS word, excel and power point skills
