Description

Role : Product Officer - BancaTakaful
Location : Abu Dhabi
Role Purpose:
Handle Takaful sales staff related operational activities of Bancatakaful Department
Key Accountabilities of the role

  • Lead the end-to-end processing of Takaful applications ensuring all documentation is thoroughly vetted and compliant with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Oversee coordination with the sales team to rectify missing or incomplete information ensuring timely and accurate application submissions.
  • Manage and monitor system uploads of all Takaful cases ensuring seamless workflow and timely business booking.
  • Supervise dispatch operations ensuring original applications are securely and promptly sent to the back-office team and providers.
  • Handle complex customer service requests including free-look cancellations surrenders reinstatements and escalated service issues ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with underwriting and sales teams to resolve pending requirements and expedite case closures.
  • Maintain and review daily MIS reports ensuring data accuracy and providing insights for process improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to agreed TATs for all operational activities including document verification system logging and contribution collection.
  • Conduct quality checks on submitted applications to ensure accuracy completeness and compliance.
  • Lead the business booking process ensuring all applications are logged and processed within defined timelines.
  • Own and update Claims MIS coordinating with relevant teams to ensure timely resolution and closure of outstanding issues.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements contributing to operational efficiency and service excellence.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:

  • Confidence; to take an event from concept to finalization
  • Ability to coordinate the various tasks of the event
  • Good understanding of Banks products policies plans & objectives in order to pro-actively embrace systems/ procedure changes within the function
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment creating viable relationships across stakeholders
  • Result oriented self-driven and highly organized
  • Teamwork skills and project management skills as well as the ability to work alone
