The working location for this position is HSBC Tower, Dubai, UAE.

In this role, you will:

• Manage the development and launch of Mortgage products, including the ongoing engagement of internal centres of reference on matters related to transfer pricing, credit, risk, operations and technology.
• Drive the distribution of Mortgage products in coordination with channel managers, global sales leads and country teams across online, offline and other relevant channels.
• Manage oversight and control of the Mortgage portfolio by developing tracking mechanisms as well as controlling concentration along various risk parameters.
• The role has overall responsibility for Mortgage products, with an emphasis on product strategy execution and management, platform and controls oversight, and provide support to Head of Secured Lending in managing the Country product P&L.
• The role requires interface with global and country teams across Mortgages, Operations and Technology, as well as Sales & Distribution, Proposition and Marketing functions to deliver competitive solutions that meet client needs.

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Relevant experience in local and international Mortgage Products.
• Strong product management knowledge, good market/industry knowledge and proven ability to translate into product strategy formulation.
• Experience of product development, designing customer journeys, and using analytics & insight to meet customer needs.
• Proven experience in driving implementation of operations/systems programmes through informing design and execution as the subject matter expert.
• Strong leadership communication and analytical skills.
• Graduation degree is required – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
