A leading airline company seeks a Product Manager to oversee product development, from strategy to launch. Synopsis
The Product Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end product development process, from defining desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products to launching them and ensuring they continuously meet customer needs. This role will own the strategy, vision, and roadmap for products within the value stream. They will support the Release Train Engineers in delivering value to customers.
This role will have a customer-centric mindset and act as the internal representative of the customer throughout the product lifecycle. They will leverage market and customer research to continuously understand market and customer needs.
Accountabilities
Work with the Solution Architect and Software Engineers to define and maintain the Non-Functional Requirements to ensure the product meets quality standards.
Support the flow of work through the portfolio Kanban and into the product backlog.
Work with the Product Owner to reprioritize the backlog based on business and customer needs.
Present the vision of the product during the Program Increment Planning session, along with proposed features and upcoming milestones.
Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives.
Work with Solution Architects to understand the scope of upcoming enabler work and sequence the architectural runway to enable new business functionality.
Facilitate regular system demos, ensuring critical aspects are shown to stakeholders for review and approval.
Support measuring product success, including adoption, customer insights, and feedback. Continuously seek to enhance the product and identify future features.
Manage regular progress updates, dependencies, risks, and issues, escalating as needed to the Senior Product Manager and Release Train Engineer.
