Job summary

Socium - Teams Done Differently in Sharjah, UAE seeks an experienced Banking Product Manager to own the lifecycle of Islamic Banking, Cash Management, and corporate banking products. You will drive end-to-end product activities, gather requirements, and ensure regulatory and Shariah compliance.

You will coordinate across IT, operations, and vendors, lead UAT and deployment, and deliver improvements in customer experience and service delivery.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Banking, Financial Services, Product Management or related banking functions.
• Strong experience in Islamic Banking and Shariah-compliant products.
• Experience in Cash Management / Cash Banking, preferably in Corporate/Transaction Banking environments.
• Experience coordinating UAT, product launches, system implementations, and production readiness.
• Understanding of banking regulations, risk and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee banking products and services with focus on Islamic Banking, Cash Management, and Cash Banking.
• Drive end-to-end product management activities including planning, requirements gathering, implementation, and optimization.
• Support development, delivery, and management of Shariah-compliant products and services.
• Lead Transition Management activities for implementation, migration, and handover of banking products and systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams, IT, operations, compliance, and vendors to ensure product delivery.
• Gather and document business requirements, product specs, user stories, and functional requirements.
• Coordinate product enhancements, system integrations, and process improvements.
• Support UAT, implementation planning, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
• Ensure compliance with Islamic Banking principles and regulatory requirements.

Location: Sharjah, UAE – Full Onsite (Candidates based in Dubai, Sharjah, or nearby locations preferred)

Contract Duration: Initial 12 months

Work Schedule: Day shift, onsite at the client's office

Target Start Date: ASAP / Within the Next 2 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee banking products and services, with a strong focus on Islamic Banking, Cash Management, and Cash Banking.
• Drive end-to-end product management activities, including product planning, requirements gathering, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing optimization.
• Support the development, delivery, and management of Shariah-compliant banking products and services.
• Manage Cash Management and Transaction Banking products, including corporate payments, collections, cash transactions, and related banking services.
• Lead and coordinate Transition Management activities, ensuring smooth implementation, migration, and operational handover of banking products, processes, and systems.
• Collaborate with internal banking teams, business stakeholders, IT, operations, compliance, and external vendors to ensure successful product delivery.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, product specifications, user stories, and functional requirements.
• Coordinate product enhancements, system integrations, process improvements, and banking transformation initiatives.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation planning, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
• Ensure banking products and processes comply with Islamic Banking principles, internal policies, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve product performance, operational efficiency, customer experience, and service delivery.
• Monitor product performance, manage delivery risks, resolve issues, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain product documentation, implementation plans, transition records, and operational procedures.

Experience & Professional Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in Banking, Financial Services, Product Management, or related banking functions.
• Strong experience in Islamic Banking, with a good understanding of Shariah-compliant banking products, services, and operations.
• Proven experience in Cash Management / Cash Banking, preferably within Corporate Banking or Transaction Banking environments.
• Practical experience in Transition Management, including banking product implementation, system migration, process transition, or operational handover.
• Strong background in Banking Product Management, Product Ownership, Product Development, and Product Lifecycle Management.
• Good understanding of corporate payments, collections, cash management services, and banking transaction processes.
• Experience working with banking systems, digital banking platforms, payment solutions, and related financial technologies.
• Ability to gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications, product requirements, and implementation plans.
• Experience coordinating UAT, product launches, system implementations, and production readiness activities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across business, technology, operations, compliance, and vendor teams.
• Understanding of banking regulations, operational risk, compliance requirements, and Islamic Banking principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Arabic-speaking proficiency is required.
• Candidates currently based in Dubai, Sharjah, or nearby locations who are willing to work fully onsite in Sharjah are preferred.
• Immediate availability or a short notice period is highly preferred.
• Relevant certifications in Product Management, Agile, Scrum, Banking, or Project Management are advantageous.
