Job description

Product Manager, IPG - Logicom Distribution - Dubai, UAE

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Product Manager for the Print business (IPG) to drive the growth and market share across the UAE and Gulf region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing product strategies, managing the entire product lifecycle, and working closely with sales, marketing, and vendor Teams to achieve business objectives.

This role requires travelling across the GCC region.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive product strategies for the IPG portfolio, aligned with regional market demands, vendor objectives, and company goals.
  • Conducting in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and emerging trends in the IPG segment.
  • Managing the full product lifecycle from introduction to end-of-life, including forecasting, pricing, inventory management, and promotional activities.
  • Collaborating with the Vendor to understand upcoming product roadmaps, features, and positioning.
  • Acting as the primary product expert for the IPG portfolio, providing pre-sales and post-sales support to the sales Team and channel partners.
  • Developing and delivering product training sessions for internal sales Teams and external partners.
  • Creating compelling sales tools, presentations, and product collateral to support sales efforts.
  • Working closely with the sales Team to identify and close large opportunities, participating in customer meetings as needed.
  • Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within the IPG Team (sales, marketing, product management).
  • Negotiating and managing vendor programs, rebates, and incentives to maximize profitability and market share.
  • Ensuring compliance with all vendor requirements and reporting.
  • In collaboration with the marketing Team, planning and executing effective marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities to drive demand and brand awareness for IPG products.
  • Monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Developing accurate sales forecasts and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
  • Collaborating with the logistics and operations Teams to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Monitoring and analyzing product performance against targets, identifying areas for improvement and taking corrective actions.
  • Preparing regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities for the Management and the vendor.
  • Managing the profitability of the business as per the budgets

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Master’s in Business Administration will be considered an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management within the IT distribution industry, specifically with strong exposure to the Print division portfolio with brands like HP, Canon, Epson, etc..
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing product categories in the UAE and Gulf region. Well connected with partners and vendors in UAE & Gulf market.
  • Deep understanding of the Print, and accessories market, including key technologies, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a significant advantage.
  • Ability to travel frequently across the UAE and Gulf region.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a Team.

Remuneration
