Job description

As a PM II in the Customer Experience team, you will execute the vision and strategy for Careem's Everything App experience, impacting how users perceive Careem daily. This involves building products to improve customer activation, deepen engagement, and facilitate platform growth through rapid experimentation to identify optimal recommendations and experiences, creating engaging journeys aligned with business objectives.

This role requires customer-first thinking, technical acumen, strong communication and collaboration skills, and a willingness to dive deep into details for seamless execution. You will work across engineering, design, operations, and research teams, serving as an internal bridge. This role offers significant ownership and the opportunity to do impactful work.

Responsibilities:
  1. Product Areas: Shaping and executing key priorities for the Everything App Experience, including rapid experimentation.
  2. Roadmap: Building and driving the product roadmap, being accountable for impact and outcomes.
  3. Collaboration: Working closely with vertical teams to enable cross-cutting experiences.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Managing diverse stakeholders, establishing stability and principled decision-making frameworks.
  5. Culture of Impact: Building a best-in-class experience grounded in first principles, data, experimentation, and innovative ideas.
Qualifications:
  1. 3+ years of product management experience in customer-facing, B2B, or SaaS products at a global scale, including 0 to 1 products and scaling growth.
  2. Proven track record of unlocking product-led growth in B2B/B2B2C sectors like marketplaces, e-commerce, quick commerce, urban mobility, SuperApps, fintech, etc.
  3. Technical background preferred, with experience in SaaS and tech-enabled products such as developer portals and APIs.
  4. Platform mindset with experience in scalable, flexible solutions for diverse use-cases.
  5. Strong knowledge of product management best practices and experience working in empowered teams.
  6. Excellent collaboration and influencing skills.
  7. Impact-driven with an experimentation mindset, experienced in avoiding common pitfalls.
  8. Motivated to make an impact, deliver results quickly, and elevate the regional ecosystem.
  9. Educational qualification: BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
