The Product Manager is responsible for managing the lifecycle of a product/service or a group of products/services. This involves managing products/services from ideation to launch, and through to retirement. Manages the product/service strategy, conducting market research, identifying user needs, and creating a roadmap for the products/services. Leads and works with cross-functional teams to develop and launch the products/services, and then monitor their performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take responsibility for all aspects of the life cycle of a product or set of products, including long- and short-term development and marketing.
Stay abreast of trends in the marketplace to ensure the product's competitive position.
Execute key digital product/service life-cycle activities, planning and aligning with procurement and distribution and developing standard processes and tooling requirements to support asset life-cycle management.
Explore issues or needs, establishing potential causes and barriers, as well as related issues.
Execute the development plan for a new product or service, managing project schedules, identifying risks, and communicating to project stakeholders.
Deliver defined features, functionality, or outcomes from a designated part of the development/engineering program, selecting the best available approach within established systems.
Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems.
Research data from digital product/service performance, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities for product/service improvement.
Lead a small- to medium-sized project team; communicate the project vision and the necessary outcomes, along with guidance to achieve these outcomes; coordinate team actions on project activities; coordinate the flow of additional team members on and off the team, as needed; and identify areas of improvement to build the capability of the team through training, coaching, and mentoring.
Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
Maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Fluency in English, Arabic is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
General Experience:
Eight to ten years of experience in a managerial role.
