Job summary

Uplift People Consulting is partnering with a UAE startup to help build an early leadership team. The role leads end-to-end product strategy, guiding the MVP to product-market fit while owning backlog, analytics, and user experience.

You will operate in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment with strong emphasis on customer feedback and successful launches. The position requires 3-5 years of roadmap ownership, a data-driven approach, and Arabic language proficiency with UAE experience

We are partnering with a newly established high-potential marketplace startup in the UAE to build their founding team.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product roadmap from discovery to deliveryensuring we ship the right MVP measure what matters and iterate fast toward product-market fit.

1) Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define MVP scope phased roadmap (MVP trust retention) and prioritization (impact vs effort)
• Write PRDs/user stories acceptance criteria and launch plans; manage backlog health
• Align cross-functional stakeholders (Tech CX Growth) on trade-offs timelines and dependencies

2) Execution & Iteration

• Run sprint cadence with engineering/design; unblock decisions daily
• Own UI/UX quality end-to-end (flows edge cases trust signals onboarding listing journey)
• Define analytics events dashboards: funnels cohorts conversion retention
• Run experiments (A/B tests) monitor outcomes and iterate quickly

3) Voice of Customer & Quality Loop

• Build feedback loops from support/community into the roadmap (top issues root causes)
• Translate operational pain points into product improvements (listing search etc)
• Ensure product readiness for launch: policies comms and operational handoffs

What Were Looking For

• 3-5 years End-to-end product roadmap ownership experience (consumer apps / marketplace preferred)
• Strong UI/UX ownership; design or development background
• Data-driven operator (funnels cohorts conversion retention)
• Fast structured communicator; thrives in ambiguity and high pace
• Arabic and previous experience in the UAE is preferred
