We are looking for a Product Manager to create, refine, and manage key product lines – including tours, excursions, and packages – within Masarra’s growing portfolio.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Senior Product Manager and Product Director to ensure our offerings meet market demands, operational feasibility, and profitability goals. Success will require creative thinking, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments like Contracting, Pricing & Analytics, Operations, Reservations, Sales, and Marketing.
Job Scope:
- Develop product concepts aligned with Masarra’s strategic goals, focusing on Abu Dhabi’s cultural and natural attractions.
- Conduct market research using insights from tour operators, competitor analysis, and online reviews to refine and innovate product features.
- Coordinate pilot trials and soft launches, gathering feedback to enhance product offerings before full rollout.
- Collaborate with Contracting Managers (Hotels, Attractions, Services) to secure competitive rates and exclusive product inclusions.
- Align with the Senior Pricing and Analytics Manager to ensure each product’s pricing structure is profitable and market-competitive.
- Provide USPs, itineraries, and promotional materials for B2B (tour operators, MICE) and B2C (online) channels to support sales and marketing teams.
- Plan and manage product launch timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Operations, Contracting, and Travel Desks to ensure operational feasibility and smooth execution.
- Address and escalate operational or supplier-related issues as necessary to the Senior Product Manager or Product Director.
- Ensure all tours, experiences, and packages deliver authenticity and high service standards consistent with Masarra’s brand promise.
- Conduct regular site visits, mystery shopping, and guest feedback reviews to maintain and improve product quality.
- Recommend product enhancements based on feedback loops, market trends, and operational insights.
- Monitor and report on product KPIs, including bookings, revenue, margins, customer satisfaction, and NPS scores.
- Conduct ROI analyses to evaluate product profitability and recommend improvements or discontinuations for underperforming products.
- Maintain updated records for product specifications, supplier agreements, and performance data.
- Achieve revenue and margin targets, ensure efficiency in time-to-market, drive high booking conversion rates, and support strong guest retention levels.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field
- Advanced certifications in Product Management, Project Management, or Tourism
- Minimum of three (3) years in a product management, tourism, or hospitality role.
- Familiarity with destination management operations, tour operator dynamics, or hospitality environments.
- Demonstrated success in leading and coordinating cross-functional projects.
- Experience within a DMC or start-up setting and exposure to Agile or Lean methodologies is advantageous.
- Strong market research and data interpretation abilities.
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding of tourism operations and service quality metrics.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, reservation platforms, and digital tools.
- Creative problem-solving and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment.
