Product Management Senior Director for Energy Vertical (SME for O&G, utilities) - Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Director of Product Management to lead our product initiatives in the O&G and Industrial verticals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of these industries, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving product success from conception to launch.

Key Responsibilities

1. Directs a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life.
2. Functions as a central resource with design, process, manufacturing, quality, test, marketing, and distribution as the product(s) and/or product line(s) move through their lifecycle.
3. Formulates and executes long-term roadmaps for cost/profit control.
4. Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends.
5. Directs those involved in the design, modification, and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products.
6. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades, and maintenance of the product or product line.

What are we looking for?

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the O&G and Industrial sectors.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Develop and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with overall business goals and market needs.
2. Lead the creation and management of product roadmaps, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
3. Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to define and prioritize product features.
4. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new opportunities and validate product direction.
5. Build and nurture a high-performing product management team through hiring, coaching, and performance evaluations.
6. Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to ensure product alignment with industry standards and customer expectations.
7. Drive innovation and new product development initiatives to maintain competitive advantage.
