Role Overview:

We are looking for a Product & Growth Data Analyst to uncover opportunities, measure impact, and fuel our growth engine. You’ll work closely with product managers, growth marketers, and leadership to identify high-impact experiments, optimize user journeys, and ensure we’re pushing our P&L in the right direction. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of product analytics, growth strategy, and data storytelling—and who doesn’t shy away from pushing boundaries.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Analytics

Analyze user journeys, funnels, and feature adoption to identify drop-off points and opportunities for product optimization.

Partner with product managers to define success metrics for new features and track their impact post-launch.

Provide actionable insights on A/B tests, product experiments, and UX changes.

Growth Analytics

Evaluate the performance of acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization initiatives.

Build models to forecast growth levers and scenario outcomes.

Monitor and optimize metrics such as LTV, CAC, and conversion rates.

Industry Knowledge & Experimentation

Stay up to date with the latest in product and growth—whether it’s Lenny’s Newsletter, Phiture’s growth blog, or changes in Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework.

Bring external best practices into Washmen’s growth and product strategies.

Impact on Business

Continuously challenge the status quo and push for initiatives that can materially impact P&L.

Communicate findings and recommendations directly to leadership, backed by data-driven reasoning.

Technical Work

Write efficient SQL queries to extract and transform data from our warehouse.

Use Python for deeper analysis, automation, and prototyping.

(Nice to have) Collaborate on UX research to combine qualitative and quantitative insights.

QualificationsExperience: 4–7 years in product analytics, growth analytics, or similar roles.

Technical Skills:

Strong SQL skills for analytics and reporting.

Mid-level Python for data manipulation and automation.

UX research exposure is a plus.

Domain Knowledge:

Solid understanding of product analytics concepts (funnels, retention, cohorts, A/B testing).

Understanding of growth models and metrics across the user lifecycle.

Familiarity with MMP tools, tracking frameworks, and ATT implications.

Soft Skills:

Highly ambitious, driven to push limits and deliver measurable business impact.

Exceptional communication—able to translate numbers into stories and strategies.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, startup environment with high autonomy.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Firebase Analytics.

Background in mobile-first product companies.

Knowledge of data orchestration
