Position Summary

We are in search of a visionary Product Director to lead the strategic direction and execution of our product portfolio. This role is pivotal in defining product vision, creating roadmaps, and driving the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch. The Product Director will ensure our products meet market demands, achieve business objectives, and deliver exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with company goals and market needs.
• Lead the execution of a comprehensive product strategy to meet business objectives and drive growth.
• Oversee and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with market trends, business priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development, ensuring effective cooperation with other product teams, engineering, marketing, and sales.
• Define and manage SLAs and SLOs to maintain high standards of product performance and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct competitor analysis to maintain a competitive edge and inform strategic decisions.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders to ensure their expectations are met and aligned with product goals.
• Manage the product budget to ensure efficient resource allocation and alignment with financial targets.
• Work closely with sales teams to align product offerings with market demands and sales strategies.
• Ensure overall product quality and timely delivery by overseeing the entire product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and align product teams around a shared vision.
• Proven experience in project management to lead initiatives from ideation to execution.
• Cross-functional collaboration skills, especially the ability to work closely with various product teams and other departments to ensure product alignment and success.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles , including backlog management techniques such as story slicing, story mapping, and Agile metrics like burndown metrics, velocity, lead time, and cycle time.
• Experience working as an Agile Product Manager in a technology-driven company, with hands-on experience in writing user stories, defining epics, and following the product development lifecycle through user story acceptance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate vision and influence stakeholders.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to see the big picture and align product goals with overall business strategy.
• Domain knowledge related to trade facilitation or relevant industry would be a plus.
• Fluency in English and French are required.
