We are looking for an innovative and technically skilled Product Development Manager to lead the design, development and launch of new steel-fabricated products and systems. This role bridges the gap between market needs and engineering execution — ideal for someone with both technical expertise and a strong commercial mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies for new products, including market entry plans, pricing, strategies and launch activities.
• Work closely with business development, design, and production teams to identify market opportunities and translate them into technical solutions.
• Oversee material selection, design validation, performance testing, and compliance with industry standards (especially for armoured applications).
• Drive continuous improvement of existing products to enhance performance, cost-efficiency, and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to align development efforts with customer expectations and project requirements.
• Track emerging trends in materials, vehicle integration, and protection systems to inform product innovation strategy.
• Support marketing and sales teams with technical documentation, product training, and launch materials.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field (Masters preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in product development, preferably within steel fabrication, defense, or heavy equipment industries.
• Strong understanding of armour-grade steels, blast & ballistic standards, manufacturing techniques, and steel design.
• Proven track record of bringing engineered products from concept to market.
• Excellent project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Familiarity with CAD software, FEA, and product lifecycle management tools.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, fabrication-oriented environment.
