Job summary

The Place by CCI 36 is seeking a junior to mid-level Product Designer to craft intuitive digital experiences across web and mobile. You will work with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate user needs into visually polished designs.

Key responsibilities include design systems, wireframes, prototypes, usability testing, and collaboration across the product team. A strong portfolio and knowledge of design principles are essential.

We are looking for a creative, user-focused, and detail-oriented Product Designer to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design, user experience, and problem-solving, with the ability to transform complex ideas into intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly digital products. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs, improve product experiences, and create innovative design solutions that align with business goals and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, user-friendly, and visually engaging digital products across web and mobile platforms.
• Conduct user research, competitor analysis, and market research to understand user needs, behaviors, and industry trends.
• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and product ideas.
• Develop and maintain design systems, reusable components, and visual guidelines to ensure consistency across products.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Translate business requirements and user insights into effective design solutions that improve usability and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to identify design issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Analyze user behavior, feedback, and product performance metrics to guide design decisions and optimize user experiences.
• Ensure consistency in typography, color schemes, layouts, icons, and other visual elements across digital interfaces.
• Create responsive designs that provide seamless experiences across different devices, screen sizes, and platforms.
• Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications and maintain design quality.
• Identify usability problems and recommend improvements to enhance accessibility, functionality, and overall product experience.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and product planning discussions to contribute creative ideas and strategic solutions.
• Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, user experience principles, and industry best practices.
• Continuously refine product designs based on user feedback, business objectives, and evolving product requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or in a similar design-related role.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating product design skills, problem-solving abilities, and user-centered design thinking.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles, user interface (UI) design, interaction design, and visual design.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, mockups, and interactive design concepts.
• Good understanding of user research methods, usability testing, and user behavior analysis.
• Ability to translate user needs and business requirements into clear, practical, and visually appealing design solutions.
• Strong attention to detail with a good sense of layout, typography, color, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first design approaches.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Strong creative thinking, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, accessibility standards, and design handoff processes is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts is an advantage.
• Experience working in Agile or cross-functional product development teams is preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience designing SaaS platforms, mobile applications, websites, or other digital products is an advantage.
