Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in UI/UX or related field.
• Portfolio demonstrating UI/UX projects is required.
• 4–6 years of UI/UX, product design, or digital experience design experience.

Job Purpose:

The UIUX Designer is responsible for creating intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging digital experiences across the organization's websites, portals, mobile applications, and digital services. The role translates user needs and business requirements into effective design solutions while ensuring consistency with brand and design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

UI/UX Design

• Design end-to-end user experiences across web, mobile, portals, and other digital platforms.
• Translate business requirements into user journeys, flows, information architecture, wireframes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
• Create responsive and visually engaging designs aligned with brand guidelines.
• Identify usability challenges and develop practical design solutions.
• Ensure consistency across digital platforms and user touchpoints.

User Research & Validation

• Conduct user research, interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs and behaviours.
• Analyse feedback and available data to identify and improve opportunities.
• Validate design concepts with users and stakeholders and incorporate findings into final designs.

Prototyping & Design Systems

• Develop interactive prototypes to demonstrate user journeys and functionality.
• Create and maintain reusable components, UI libraries, and design systems.
• Apply accessibility and inclusive design principles.
• Maintain clear design standards and documentation to support consistency and scalability.

Collaboration & Implementation

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and developers throughout the design lifecycle.
• Present design concepts and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare design specifications, assets, and documentation for development handover.
• Work with developers to ensure approved designs are implemented accurately.
• Review completed interfaces and address design or usability issues before release.

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Professional certification in UX/UI Design, or Design Thinking is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, responsive design, and usability principles.
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent design and prototyping tools.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is an advantage.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in UI/UX, product design, or digital experience design.
• Proven experience designing websites, mobile applications, portals, or other digital products.
• Experience in user research, usability testing, wireframing, prototyping, and interface design.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and development teams.
• Experience developing or maintaining design systems is preferred.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant UI/UX projects is required.
