Product Application and Development Technologist - Beverage

Your Role

1. Coordinate technical projects (specific / creative & application) entered by sales team documenting all activities on Symrise platforms (PACE / SAP)
2. Support execution of local as well as BU strategies on technical level to support the speed to market approach in coordination with sales, marketing and technical team
3. Develop compounds, emulsions and various beverage application / RTD formulations in coordination with Symrise formulation guidelines
4. Optimize products, compound and emulsions and continue to update Symrise BOM and raw material solutions
5. Provide contact for key customers for technical support, as well as for Sales Account Managers. Represent the company on a strongly performed technical level to pioneer, develop and maintain customer-supplier relationships.
6. Maintain the local flavor / raw material portfolio
7. Ensure all lab activities are in compliance with legal and Symrise guidelines, regulations and GLP

About You

Education Required: Bachelor Degree in Food Technology and / or trained as PADT Beverage

Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years working as a Beverage developer / PADT

Skills Required:

1. Professional Beverage compound and emulsion development
2. Good knowledge of RM & Beverage application technologies
3. Knowledge of industrial processes at customers
4. Food safety and hygiene
5. Ability to drive customer intimacy
6. Very good command of English
7. Project management
