We are currently seeking a Procurement Support Specialist for one of our very well-known client, to be based in their Dubai office.

Job Purpose:

  • We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented External Procurement Support Specialist to join our GS ME Procurement Team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support, follow up on supplier onboarding activities, assist PPMs with small volume orders, support the implementation of process improvement projects, manage workshop and meeting organizations, and handle various reporting and controlling tasks. Additionally, the role involves supporting Tool & Service Center sourcing activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the GS ME Procurement Team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Follow up on supplier onboarding activities, ensuring all necessary documentation and processes are completed accurately and timely.
  • Assist PPMs with small volume orders, ensuring procurement processes are followed and orders are fulfilled efficiently.
  • Support Tool & Service Center sourcing activities, ensuring effective and efficient procurement processes.
  • Support the implementation of process improvement projects, contributing to the enhancement of procurement operations.
  • Organize and support all workshops and meetings for the GS ME Procurement Team, including scheduling, logistics, and documentation.
  • Handle reporting and controlling tasks, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of procurement activities and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Social Sciences, Supply Chain Management or other relevant fields.
  • Proven experience (2-5 years) in a similar administrative or procurement support role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP and Data Analysis
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and systems.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies
