Job summary

Valen Management in Dubai seeks an experienced Jr. Procurement Officer to support Civil and MEP material sourcing for construction projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on UAE procurement experience and understands local practices.

You will manage supplier qualification, issue quotations, prepare POs, track deliveries, and collaborate with project and site teams to ensure material readiness while maintaining records. Immediate joiner preferred.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of procurement experience in the UAE/GCC construction industry.
• Mandatory experience in Civil and MEP procurement.
• Good knowledge of construction and MEP materials.
• Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation comparison, negotiation, and purchase orders.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure Civil and MEP materials, equipment, tools, and consumables.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
• Compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, site, and stores teams regarding material requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery as per project requirements.
• Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation.
• Monitor material prices, availability, and lead times.
• Resolve supplier-related issues, delays, and material shortages.
• Ensure materials meet project specifications and approved requirements.
