Job summary

Emarat Aloula Contracting is seeking a proactive Purchasing Officer to support procurement for ongoing MEP and construction projects in the UAE. You will source materials, coordinate with suppliers, issue POs, and monitor deliveries to ensure timely, cost-efficient procurement aligned with project requirements.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of UAE procurement experience, exposure to MEP/construction, and strong negotiation and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant UAE experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Experience in MEP, construction, or contracting companies is mandatory.
• Familiarity with procurement of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing materials.
• Knowledge of UAE supplier market and procurement practices.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure MEP materials, equipment and services
• In accordance with project requirements
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) and follow up on order status
• Coordinate with site teams, engineers, and procurement managers to ensure accurate material requirements
• Monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely supply of materials to project sites
• Maintain proper documentation of procurement activities including quotations, comparisons and POs assist in vendor selection evaluation and performance monitoring
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favorable terms
• Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications and contractual requirements
• Maintain updated records of approved suppliers and pricing benchmarks

We at Emarat Aloula is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to support procurement operations for ongoing MEP and construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement in line with project requirements. Candidates with experience in MEP construction or contracting companies in the UAE will be highly preferred.
