Salary: AED 12,000 – 13,000 (plus performance incentives)

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join a leading industrial player in the UAE. In this role, you will manage end-to-end procurement operations, work closely with cross-functional teams, and ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of critical materials, equipment, and services.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Operations

• Source and procure raw materials, spare parts, equipment, and services to meet operational and project needs.
• Manage RFQs, evaluate bids, negotiate prices, and handle contract finalization.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
  
  

SAP S/4HANA Management

• Use SAP S/4HANA for PR & PO creation, goods receipt, invoice verification, and vendor database updates.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and generate regular reports.
• Collaborate with IT/SAP teams for system enhancements and upgrades.
  
  

Vendor Management

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations.
• Ensure vendors meet safety, quality, and delivery standards.
  
  

Cost & Inventory Control

• Track procurement budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Work with warehouse teams to optimize inventory levels and reduce lead times.
  
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with engineering, production, maintenance, and finance teams.
• Support plant shutdowns, capital projects, and urgent purchase requirements.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of procurement experience in the cement industry or heavy manufacturing sector.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA procurement modules.
• Knowledge of industry-specific materials, equipment, and procurement compliance.
• Excellent negotiation, contract management, and organizational skills.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Certification in Procurement (CIPS, CPSM, or similar).
• Exposure to sustainability and ESG-focused sourcing.
• Multilingual abilities (especially beneficial for international sourcing).
