Procurement Specialist

The UAE National Orchestra is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing efforts that support our dynamic performances, rehearsals, events, and operational needs.

In this unique role, you will work closely with the Operations Director to ensure that all procurement activities are strategically aligned with our artistic and production goals — from securing specialized equipment to managing vendor partnerships that keep our stage ready for magic.

Relevant experience in the performing arts, entertainment, or live events industry is a must — because:

• You’ll be sourcing specialized items like musical instruments, performance tech, and artist-related services.
• You understand event-driven logistics and can navigate high-pressure timelines tied to show schedules.
• You’re familiar with contractual nuances involved in venues, touring, and performance-specific procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with artistic schedules and operational goals.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee timely delivery of goods and services.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with production, artistic, and finance teams.
• Lead cost control efforts while maintaining the highest standards of service quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably within the arts, entertainment, or events sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and inventory control skills.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and fluent English required; Arabic is a plus.
