Procurement Specialist

Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing high-quality materials, equipment, and services required for defense operations and support. The role ensures compliance with internal procurement policies and defense industry standards, while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project and organizational goals.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to defense-specific requirements and quality standards.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions in a timely manner.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve supply chain issues to maintain uninterrupted operations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE defense procurement regulations, import/export laws, and internal control policies.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and contribute to audit readiness.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, logistics, legal, and finance teams to meet project needs.

Performance Expectations

• Meet KPIs related to cost savings, supplier reliability, and procurement cycle times.
• Ensure 100% compliance with internal and regulatory procurement protocols.
• Establish and maintain robust supplier relationships that support project success.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of UAE procurement laws and defense contracting procedures.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
