Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Procurement Quality Engineer – Electrical | Substation in Abu Dhabi with 8+ years of experience in substation and OHL projects. The role focuses on vendor approvals, FAT planning, and ensuring compliance with client specifications and ITP/ITR procedures.

The candidate will review drawings, MARs/MRs/TBE, FAT reports, and coordinate with client and supplier QA teams, including pre-inspection meetings and stage inspections. UAE market standards apply.

Qualifications

• BE / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Substation / OHL projects.
• ADNOC / TAQA-T / DEWA experience is an advantage.
• Strong experience in procurement quality, vendor inspection and FAT activities.

Responsibilities

• Review Vendor Approval Documentation.
• Review & submission of MARs / MRs / TBE.
• Review GA Drawings and Technical Documents as per Client Requirements.
• Review ITP / ITR and FAT Procedures.
• Review FAT Report Submissions.
• Coordinate with Client / Company Procurement Quality teams.
• Arrange Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIM) and coordinate related activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers during stage inspections and FAT inspections.
• Arrange TPI during PIM & FAT inspections.
• Submit Material Record Books.
• Handle other procurement quality requirements as deemed necessary.
