Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of quality materials and services.
  2. Negotiation: Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  3. Purchase Orders: Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels to ensure that adequate supplies are maintained without overstocking.
  5. Quality Assurance: Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all purchased materials meet required specifications and standards.
  6. Cost Control: Track and report on key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  7. Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, supplier market conditions, and material availability.
  8. Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  9. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, quality assurance, and finance, to align procurement activities with company objectives.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Minimum Diploma Level 4 in Procurement and Supply from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or Bachelor’s degree.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 02 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  3. Preference to Arabic Nationals.
