Responsible for procurement activities related to pharmacy supplies, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of medicines and medical equipment in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies
Liaise with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms and prices
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
Ensure all procurement activities comply with DHA/MOH regulations
Review purchase orders and procurement documentation
Coordinate with pharmacy and clinical staff to forecast needs
Monitor supplier performance and address issues promptly
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or relevant field
Minimum of 3 years procurement experience in hospital or healthcare settings
DHA/HAAD or MOH license/registration is mandatory
Knowledge of hospital supply chain management and procurement standards
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Preferably female
