Job Title: Procurement Officer

Contract Duration: 1 year extendable

Location: Dubai

Joining Date: ASAP / 30 days notice

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for day-to-day procurement for the organization for assigned spend categories.
2. Understand the requirements and needs of the stakeholders/project.
3. Manage end-to-end Source-to-contract process working closely with requestors, Legal, and all other relevant stakeholders.
4. Manage RFx (RFI, RFQ, RFPs) process in a timely and efficient manner.
5. Continuously strive to get the best value for your money through usage of best practice sourcing process and as per corporate governance requirements.
6. Establish and negotiate the price and contract terms and conditions, prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports, and price lists.
7. Maintain and build relationships with existing and new suppliers to improve levels of service and establish new sources of supply.
8. Ensure compliance with policy, procedures, standards, and reporting requirements, plus any relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
9. Good understanding of the market trend and research potential vendors to procure the right products of right quality at the right price.
10. Identify and recommend improvements to existing procedures and processes, suggest changes for improving controls and reducing costs.
11. Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options at regular intervals.
12. The ability to make and handle decisions of a routine nature on a day-to-day basis as directed and within the policies and procedures.

Education and Experience

Minimum formal education: University Degree or Equivalent Experience

5-7 years experience in Procurement, preferably from the Banking industry (not a must)

Certification (good to have): CIPP, CIPM, CIPS Level 4 or equivalent
