We are looking for a highly capable Procurement Officer with a solid experience in the UAE / KSA construction industry particularly in managing complex procurement operations for large-scale civil, architectural, and structural (CAS) packages.. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction contracts, technical procurement processes, and vendor evaluation.
This role is critical in supporting project delivery through accurate, efficient, and risk-aware procurement practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess strong knowledge of construction contracts with the ability to identify risk factors and bring them to the attention of superiors for timely resolution.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of measurement rules, specifically POMI (Principles of Measurement – International), and be able to apply them in procurement evaluation and BOQ understanding.
- Gather, verify, and compare technical data sheets, vendor specifications, and drawings submitted by suppliers and subcontractors.
- Apply critical reasoning to analyze quotations and assess commercial and technical compliance.
- Build and maintain trustworthy relationships with suppliers through professional communication, transparency, and accountability.
- Prepare and maintain comparative tables to support procurement decisions with structured analysis and justifications.
- Ensure all procurement activities are compliant with company standards and project requirements.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, etc.)
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint for internal reporting and presentations.
- Strong capability in preparing clear, organized comparative analysis tables and documentation.
Candidate Profile:
- Educational Background:
- Preferably a degree in Engineering
- Alternatively, a Quantity Surveying graduate with a focus on pre-contract or procurement roles.
- Experience:
- Must have experience in interior fit-out projects within the UAE.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in high-end fit-outs or MEP procurement.
- Additional experience in furniture and woodworks procurement is considered a strong plus.
- Candidates should be exposed to small to medium-sized projects.

- Must demonstrate clear communication skills and the ability to represent the company with professionalism when dealing with external vendors.
- Should possess a proactive attitude toward identifying risks and inefficiencies in procurement practices.
