We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Officer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the organization's procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Manage the entire procurement lifecycle from requisition to purchase order creation and contract closure
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions
  • Analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide solutions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE regulations, and international trade laws
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Continuously improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management
  • Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in contract management and vendor relationship management
  • Demonstrated ability in cost analysis, budgeting, and supply chain management
  • Knowledge of UAE procurement regulations and practices
  • Familiarity with international trade laws and regulations
  • Experience in international procurement practices
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPM) preferred
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
