Job Role:
Responsible for manage end-to-end procurement processes for a wide range of operational and service-related requirements, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, value for money, and timely delivery of services that support business continuity and efficiency.
Core Responsibilities:
Procurement Planning & Coordination:
- Review and validate Purchase Requisitions (PRs) from departments, engage with requestors to clarify requirements or obtain supporting documentation, and guide internal stakeholders on procurement protocols to streamline the tendering process.
Tender & RFQ Management:
- Collaborate with end users to develop comprehensive and compliant Requests for Quotation (RFQ), ensuring specifications and deliverables are well-articulated and aligned with organizational standards.
Stakeholder Engagement & Site Coordination:
- Organize and coordinate pre-bid site visits where necessary, liaising between requestors and potential vendors to align expectations and agree on procurement timelines.
Bidder Communication & Evaluation Support:
- Facilitate bidder clarification meetings and tender openings, assist in technical and commercial discussions, and ensure transparency in bid evaluation in collaboration with technical teams.
Commercial Evaluation & Negotiation:
- Conduct commercial assessments of received bids, support technical evaluations as needed, and negotiate favorable terms with shortlisted vendors to meet budgetary constraints and strategic goals.
Award Recommendation & Documentation:
- Draft internal award recommendation memos post techno-commercial evaluations, ensuring procurement decisions are clearly justified and documented in accordance with approval protocols.
Strategic Procurement Support:
- Handle procurement cycles for complex and high-value categories such as Total Facilities Management (TFM) services, outsourced operations, energy-saving initiatives, uniform revamp projects, and security.
Continuous Improvement:
- Contribute to cost optimization strategies, including waste management improvements and operational procurement enhancements, aligned with sustainability and efficiency objectives.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in related field preferred in retail industry
- Solid knowledge in retail procurement processes, inventory management, and supplier market dynamics.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
- Proficiency in procurment systems and MS Office applications
